WTH America

What the hell is wrong with people on the left? Do they make it their mission to boycott or protest anything or anyone that is contrary to their preferences? Are they incapable of getting along or living with others? Sounds a lot like radical muslims! Are we going to have to start treating them like they treat everyone else? Why should we put refugees before the homeless and hungry here in the United States? Why should we put anyone before our veterans who have sacrificed and fought for our country, our freedom? Shouldn't our veterans come first? Shouldn't we make sure children, women, and men who are hungry and/or homeless here in the United States come before others anywhere? If we can defeat hunger, homelessness, and joblessness here first, wouldn't we be better able to help others in other countries? Wouldn't we be better able to defend our country and our way of life that so many want to take away from us? And if we're to be able to defend our country shouldn't we be able to control our borders and who comes into our country? Shouldn't we be able to stop those who would come into the United States to attack us and those who would take jobs and benefits that US CITIZENS should be getting?

Shouldn't we require those who get government entitlements, unemployment or welfare or food stamps, to help others? Why couldn't they do some community service for their benefits? Serve at a homeless shelter, participate in a reading program for kids, serve their community on litter pickup crews, work at a community center after school care, work in community gardens, anything to give back for the entitlements received. Volunteer at the VA, VFW, DAV, or any other organization that serves our veterans, anything to give back for entitlements received.

Why do people on the left always want something free for all? Free college. Not everyone is college material. I just read about an apprenticeship program to learn, on the job and in class, piping and refrigeration. $12.75/hr to start, $25.50/hr at completion of the program, with medical, dental, vision, an annuity, and pension. That means for learning a trade, which will be needed in many areas for years to come, a young person could be earning over $50,000/year, or roughly twice what an average college graduate would make in an entry level position if they could find one. With little or no out of pocket costs or debt. There will always be a need for trades.

Why doesn't the government end their program of paying farmers to not plant parcels of their land, if they haven't already. Let farmers plant every bit of acreage they can and what they don't sell to consumers, sell it to the government to use for humanitarian programs in the United States and around the world, or leverage against oppression around the world. I believe our farmers can produce more than enough to feed everyone in the United States and make enough profit to live comfortably, upgrade techniques, technology, and equipment. Maybe small farms could use some of the volunteer labor from people receiving government entitlements during their peak labor needs.

There are answers to the problems in the United States of America! The answers will all require work of some sort. We can't continue to pay people to sit and do nothing for what they receive. It's not right and it's not fair to people who work hard to earn their money. And it's certainly not fair to US CITIZENS for illegal immigrants to take jobs and benefits from them. Yes, US CITIZENS do pay for the benefits and lost jobs. Let's get US CITIZENS back to work at whatever they can do or learn to do. Then they can afford medical insurance without the government meddling in it. And if people are working and earning maybe they'll have some pride in their accomplishments and community. Maybe there would be less crime, protests, and riots as well.

State of the USA

What has the USA come to?

Liberals are doing their best to turn the USA into a European style country. Liberals are turning US colleges and universities into their own breeding grounds for the next generation of complete idiots. Liberals are pushing for more and more gun control. Liberals are pushing to allow more illegal immigrants and moslem "refugees" into the USA without adequate background checks. Liberals are wanting to spend more and more on programs, shovel ready jobs, and ever increasing regulations on US CITIZENS and COMPANIES. Liberals are causing increasing racial tensions and distrust of law enforcement officers. When will it end? Who is going to have the balls to say "Enough is enough"?

Will conservatives in the GOP or Tea Party ever step up and actually do something to preserve our country? Is the GOP more concerned about establishment members of the party? The GOP has had control of the House and Senate and still cannot do anything to curb Obama's agenda. The GOP has done little to ensure Hillary Clinton will be held accountable for her numerous infractions of state and federal laws. It would seem that the GOP would want to increase their pressure on the democrats and turn the tide of liberalism. Start with reducing departments in the government, repeal duplicated regulations, abolish the IRS, pass term limits, reform immigration, rebuild the world's strongest military, follow the Constitution, find ways to use the energy we have right here in the USA, rebuild our manufacturing jobs, and on and on. The possibilities are endless!

Depend on our Patriots to do what they have to do when the time comes. And with barack obama, President Pussy, in office that time is coming.

Crusade for US CITIZENS

It's time for Conservative US CITIZENS to stand up and say "No more"! We have been bullied by just about every minority in the country, our country itself, and foreign countries. Conservatives believe in the opportunity for each and every US CITIZEN to be a productive member of society. Conservatives believe in and want to protect our Constitution. Conservatives stand, face the flag, and with our hand over heart say the Pledge of Allegiance or sing the National Anthem. Conservatives treat the flag with respect and realize a lot of blood has been spilled for the freedom it represents. Conservatives want a government that follows our Constitution and protects it, the USA, and it's CITIZENS! We want our federal government to be limited in its power and allows the states to govern their residents.

CHRISTIANS and JEWS have been under attack by atheists, muslims, and even our own government. Our religious beliefs and freedoms are eroded every day because the symbols of our religious beliefs "offend" people that don't believe or want to kill us. We can't put crosses here or there or have the Star of David here or there because the enemy doesn't want to see them. The enemy of our faith, our God, is attacking our country through liberalism, communism, atheism, and hatred. The enemy attacks the symbols of our faith and uses their rights under the Constitution to take away our rights because they're a minority, a "protected class" as determined by the liberals in government. If Christians and Jews don't mount a crusade to save our faith soon it will be taken from us and we'll be outcasts in our country and the enemy will be able to destroy us and the country we love. We must stand together and fight for our religious beliefs and our faith must lead us! We must spread the word, our faith, to all who haven't heard the gospel, who don't believe, and those who would seek to destroy us and all we stand for. We must stop giving in to the bullies who threaten us with lawsuits. We must exercise our religious freedoms. We must pray for the leaders of our faith and for the will of God to lead us in our fight to save religious freedom here and around the world.

Will there be a USA?

It seems like Barack Obama and liberal democrats are bent on waging War against US CITIZENS and our rights. He has used executive action to allow illegal aliens to stay in the USA and be eligible for benefits such as medical care, social security, welfare, and who knows what other taxpayer funded benefits. I agree that our citizenship system is not good and takes too long, but I don't agree that our borders are secure or that everyone already here should be allowed to stay. Why can't a nation with the resources of the USA keep up with people who have Visas and make sure they leave or get a new Visa when it is expired? We must provide a secure nation for everyone here!

Then we have Obama, Holder, Sharpton, Jackson, and many others stirring up the black population in Ferguson, MO and other cities because they didn't like a grand jury decision. Rule Of Law people! If we're to have any kind of judicial system, good or bad, we have to let it work and trust that it will reach the right decision the majority of the time. When it doesn't, there is always the court system to make sure the facts are presented and a judgement reached. We have to let the system work without protests, riots, arson, killings, and other atrocities in our streets.

And we have Obama waging economic warfare against every US CITIZEN and other resident in our country. How? The EPA! With coal fired plants providing much of our electricity Obama has decided to regulate those plants out of existence. What happens? Rates for electricity will skyrocket and Obama himself has stated that fact. How many residents here in the USA have extra funds available to pay sky high electricity bills? Not many! Thank goodness oil prices have dropped lately! Then there's the new regulations that allow the EPA to go after your personal funds if they decide you have broken their regs, without any due process! Sounds like IRS type powers that no government department needs to have!

So what can we do? We, US CITIZENS, need to stand with our law enforcement leaders like Sheriff Paul Babeu and others that have had enough of Obama's crap and want to do what's right for US CITIZENS. We need to stand together, black and white, brown, yellow, whatever we might be and say enough is enough! We need to say to Washington that we want the USA to be the leader of the world! We need to say that if you come here to live you must do it by legal means and we will do what we can to help you suceed. We need to say that if you attack our country, our CITIZENS, or our ALLIES, we will not stop until we wipe you off the face of the earth! We need to say that we, as a Nation, will not tolerate terrorism anywhere in the world and we will work with our allies to stomp it out!

We need to also prepare ourselves for the fact that our country isn't as secure as it once was and we may need to defend ourselves against all enemies, foreign and domestic. That means that you and I need to plan to defend ourselves and families. We need to plan to provide for our every day needs without being able to go to the store and buy what we need. It's not a very appealing concept but the reality is Obama has weakened our country to the point that our enemies don't fear or respect us and probably have operatives here already. Prepare yourselves for the worst. Survive!

Is Obama a Coward or Protecting Muslims? Or Just a Complete Idiot and Failure?

It seems to be clear now, after two US journalists captured or kidnapped by the islamists ISIS were decapitated, that Obama has no plan or strength of character or will to do anything.

That means no protection for US CITIZENS in foreign countries, more danger for US CITIZENS at home, an open border that any radical muslim could cross, radical muslims living among "moderate" muslims in the US, and barack obama not willing or capable to do anything about any of it! We are in a war with islam! If "moderate" muslims here and in Arab countries and other countries around the world won't have the courage to stand up and denounce radical muslims they are indirectly supporting and sheltering the radicals that need to be converted or killed. And when I say killed I don't mean quick and easy.

Barack Obama has downsized our military to dangerously low levels in what I believe is his part of the radical muslim plan to attack US CITIZENS here in the USA. Every US CITIZEN should be making plans, prepping to protect themselves and their families, not waiting for military or law enforcement to do it when the time comes.

Obama is spineless when it comes to making the tough decisions. All he is capable of doing is appointing corrupt department heads of the justice department, the irs, the epa, the dhs, the nsa, and who knows how many others. They are some of the most politically divisive, racist, lying, coercive, corrupt people he could surround himself with. This team of people he has are carrying out his plan to change the USA into Europe and not be the world leading power we have always been. Obama will not allow the border patrol catch and deport illegal immigrants, regardless of age. US CITIZENS should not have to bear the burden of paying for Tens of Thousands of illegal immigrant children flooding our borders to stay and be supported and get an education on our tax dollars! They should have been returned to their country of origin as soon as they were caught.

It is time for all patriots who believe in our way of life, our freedoms, our Constitution, to stand up for what so many have given so much to protect. We cannot allow barack obama and his mobsters to tear down the foundation of our USA! We must exercise our right to vote and return control of Congress to conservatives. We must force them to pass legislation for term limits of senators and representatives. We must abolish the IRS, institute a flat tax, and bring the DOJ, DHS, NSA, EPA, HHS, and other departments back under control, and reduce the size and payroll of the government. We must make sure that the members of our military have the best equipment ever, the best pay and medical benefits ever, and our vets and military families are supported and have the best benefits ever. We can afford that with savings from reducing government workers that are non-essential or workers whose duties are duplicated in other departments. The government doesn't need duplicate departments with overlapping regulations. It's time to have drug tests for any type of welfare and it's time to require a work for welfare system until recipients can find full time work and get off welfare. It's time to stop welfare paying more than minimum wage in any state. It's time to cut back. It's time to stop sending aid to countries that support our harbor terrorists. It's time to stop sending aid to countries that hold US debt.

It's time for US CITIZENS, Patriots, to stand up and take control of our country once again. It's time to stop being so Politically Correct and stop having Any hyphenated Americans! It's time to be an American or leave! It's time that our allies know we have their backs and we will support them. It's time for those who aren't our allies to know that the full force of the US will be brought to bear on them if necessary, not just sanctions, embargoes, or other actions that don't really have long term results.

Is There Any Hope For America?

Everyday I read the news and see comments posted by, supposedly, US CITIZENS that support letting the illegal immigrants into our country with no repercussions at all. US CITIZENS supporting hamas terrorists against Israel. US CITIZENS supporting muslims that don't speak up or condemn the actions of militant muslims.

My question is: WHY? Why do you support militants that rape, torture, and kill just because they want to or because some false religion and "religious" leaders tell them to? Why do you support any action against our country, citizens, military, and allies? If you want to support them go where they are and join the fight. That way you can legitimately be killed as an enemy of the United States. That goes for Barack Obama too because he sure as hell doesn't seem to be fulfilling his duty to the United States as president.

WHY do you support letting tens of thousands of illegal immigrants into this country that carry disease, that might be drug cartel members, that might be terrorists coming into our county? Illegals could be deported from the US regardless of how long they've been here or how they got here. Millions of US CITIZENS work hard at whatever job they have and pay their taxes and find a way to make ends meet. It gets harder every year. Now we're going to just add who knows how many illegals that will be dependent on the government for handouts, which means a burden on US taxpayers and more competition for whatever jobs illegals might be suited for. Of course I know that there are plenty of jobs to go around, right? How many of those illegals are terrorists taking a shot at getting into the US so they'll be able to strike at us from within? No one in the Obama administration seems to think it's possible. I guess time will tell but I hope someone is able to put hands on Obama and hold him accountable when it happens. He will be the one to blame.

Why Does Obama Scare People?

I find myself wondering, especially when I'm listening to the news, why would the President of the United States find it necessary to try to scare CITIZENS? Who is he targeting, the low informed, ignorant, gullible that believe chicken little's story that the sky is falling? I wonder if our elected officials in Washington ever hear from people when Obama starts his ranting. I wonder if they ever read the emails or tweets, or letters that citizens send their way. I wonder if things would be different if senators and representatives only had an opportunity to serve a maximum of two terms and a president only one. Would they try to change things that really matter to their constituents? As it is now these elected officials serve as many terms as they can get elected and learn the methods of looking productive while getting maximum benefits. Most US CITIZENS work their entire lives and don't get the benefits their elected officials get. Not even close! So why don't we demand a change? Why do we let minorities of any type bully everyone else with threats and scare tactics and lawsuits? Why do we let our president threaten CITIZENS and let him continue to tear down the country built by our ancestors and ruin the future for our children?

I Agree With Rush

On Fox News today they played a clip of Rush Limbaugh's radio show where he declared that he was ashamed of America. He explained that both parties are going to extremes to demonize the other about the upcoming sequester and pretty much everything else. They are putting so much effort into bitching and moaning about things and nothing is getting done to help US CITIZENS. And yes, I am totally focused on US CITIZENS and what can be done to help us.

I believe there needs to be cuts in spending, especially in entitlements.
I believe if someone gets welfare, food stamps, WIC, extended unemployment, etc they should have to pass a random drug test.
I believe the border should be secured, completely.
I believe the military needs to be the best equipped, best trained, best paid with the best benefits and best veteran care in the world.
I believe illegal immigrants need to leave the US and return legally.
I believe the US tax code needs to be scrapped and a flat tax used for all.
I believe there should be no additional gun control laws.
I believe there should be term limits for all elected officials above County level.
I believe prisoners should earn their keep. Hard labor on road crews.
I believe the federal government needs to be reduced, departments and regulations reduced.

Obama Told Us His Plans

From Sunday's 07 Sept. 2008 11:48:04 EST, Televised "Meet the Press" THE THEN Senator Obama was asked about his stance on the American Flag.

General Bill Gann' USAF (ret.) asked Obama to explain WHY he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.

The General stated to Obama that according to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171...

During rendition of the national anthem, when the flag is displayed, all present (except those in uniform) are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. Or, at the very least, "Stand and Face It". NOW GET THIS !!

'Senator Obama replied:

"As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides". "There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression.." "The anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all that sort of thing."

Obama continued: "The National Anthem should be 'swapped' for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing'. 4th of July, Happy Birthday America!

When the founding fathers came together and created our constitution I wonder if they could have envisioned the USA as it is today, a country where muslims, illegal immigrants, atheists, gays and lesbians, etc have the advantage over the majority of US CITIZENS. It is our duty to the founding fathers to make sure our government does what it's supposed to do according to our constitution, not find ways to work around it. We owe it to them to make sure government works for US CITIZENS, making US students, workers, and businesses more successful.

Enough is Enough

Come on people! How can we continue to allow obama and the democrats to gut our country? Everything they're doing is raising spending and debt on US CITIZENS and placing more regulations on everything. I haven't worked 35+ to have my future given away to freeloaders that don't want to work for what they have, or illegal immigrants that are breaking our laws by just being in the US and are stealing jobs from CITIZENS!

One in seven people now use food stamps. How ridiculous is that? There are those that may really need them and there are those that will live on a handout. Food stamps, welfare, unemployment, health care insurance subsidies, they are all a handout that make people more dependent on the government and not on working for that they have. The United Socialist States of America are what we're going to be if we allow the democrats and obama to continue entitlements. They must be stopped if our children are going to have any chance at a future. Hard work, saving, investing, starting a business, that's what we should be counting on instead of government handouts.

Health care, Rights, and more..

Been thinking about the SCOTUS ruling on obamacare that's expected soon. You know, I don't have a problem with everyone having health care available to them. I do have a problem with people who freeloading off the government through entitlements being able to get the same care I worked 30+ years to have. I want to see the doctors I choose and get the best care I can afford, not average care from a doctor I don't know that will only do what government guidelines will allow. Save that for the entitlement recipient that chooses not to work and earn his own way in life.

Way to go SCOTUS! Giving away America by upholding only one part of Arizona's immigration law! Why should an illegal immigrant be afforded the same, or more, rights than a US CITIZENS? If they are here illegally they are already breaking our laws. Why should they have the right to free health care, prenatal care, social security, disability, public school education, income tax refunds, or any other benefit a US CITIZEN gets? US CITIZENS pay for these things! We can't afford it! We need immigration reform to limit the number of immigrant workers or visitors, not tourists, who come here. And we need a way to make sure they leave when they're supposed to. We also need federal law enforcement to lead the enforcement of immigration laws with the assistance of state and local law enforcement. We cannot have open borders and open wallets any longer!

Seems like if leadership of the USA is left to liberal democrats we will not be any better off than European countries or some third world countries! Look at the demonstrations going on around the US to allow illegal immigrants a free pass, or the occupiers that want everything for nothing! Nothing is free people! Our armed service men and women have fought and died for what we have! They are the only ones that deserve the support and care US CITIZENS can give them!

WAKE UP PEOPLE!

How Much USA?

How much? How much can we take from one president and his administration? In 3+ years unemployment is at record highs. In 3+ years illegal immigration is still rampant. In 3+ years cost of living is still rising. In 3+ years we have more regulations on businesses than ever. In 3+ years we're still having bailouts. In 3+ years banks are still failing. In 3+ years the US national debt is out of control. In 3+ years there are more government entitlements than ever. In 3+ years there has been more corruption and abuse of power and spending in government than ever before. How much more??

There are schools in the Birmingham metro area that graduated 30-40% of their seniors. 30-40%! 3-4 out of 10! How is our country ever going to move forward in the future with those kind of rates? What will happen to those kids? Crime? Entitled living on the government? Killed? NO FUTURE! Our schools have to provide free education for illegal immigrant children and free lunches to kids to arrive at school in Hummers and Escalades. Our teachers have to deal with kids that have no respect for anyone, especially a white female, and administrations that enforce very little discipline. We have school systems that can't enforce a dress code or discipline because they're afraid of lawsuits from students and their parents. WHERE IS OUR FUTURE?

Watch the news. Almost every day there are reports of young people, 15-25, who have been killed, have killed someone, have stolen something, or doing drugs. Where were their parents when they needed to be in their lives? Why are they running wild on the streets? Where are they getting the weapons they use? Why is violence the only solution to their disputes? Why aren't they working a summer job instead of stealing from someone? How many will end up dead or in prison? WHERE IS OUR FUTURE?

Watch the news. Almost every day we see reports of the president's administration being caught in something. The GSA scandal in Las Vegas. The Secret Service scandals in South America and Martha's Vineyard. An attorney general and justice department that spends more time suing states instead of enforcing the laws to protect our states, and puts our border agents in danger with Fast and Furious. Under the table deals with terrorists and countries that harbor them. No budget in 3+ years. Executive orders that bypass congress using power the president doesn't have. Promises. Lies. Excuses. More spending. More debt. More entitlements. More regulations. HOW MUCH MORE USA?

US Energy

After 3+ years of obama trying to raise the cost of gasoline and electricity on US CITIZENS, I have to wonder why GOP candidates up for election haven't been pounding his policies. I mean, the US has substantial deposits of coal, oil, and natural gas. We have the technology and the labor force to use these sources of energy. Why are we putting coal miners, oil and gas well workers, steel fabrication and erection workers into the unemployment lines? Why are we buying oil and some coal from other countries when we could use our own? Why does obama give other countries money to explore for and drill for oil rather than US companies?

After working most of my career for companies that produce fans, scrubbers, collectors, and other types of air pollution control equipment, I know there are companies that can build and install state of the art equipment. Since 2008 many of these steel fabrication companies have closed their doors and put their workers into the unemployment lines. Steel fabrication is not something that can be learned overnight and it's not an easy job. Fitting and welding are becoming lost arts. The last 3+ years have not helped these companies and workers. We have the technology and labor force to build or modify and install additional equipment to control air pollution. So why aren't we using existing technology and methods until "green" sources of energy are better developed and cheaper to produce?

Now the obama administration through the EPA is trying to impose limits on fossil fuel (coal and oil) fired electric generation plants that provide the majority of our power. This will put many coal miners out of work and cause electricity costs to skyrocket, which obama has admitted is part of his plan. Granted, there are many things we can do to reduce our needs for electricity. However, raising the cost and putting hardships on US CITIZENS already pushed to their budgetary limits BEFORE other technologies and energy production is in place is ridiculous. We need to be using the energy sources available to us NOW while developing and reducing the production costs of new sources. Then after we have sufficient production of new sources of energy the switch could be made with a minimum of hardship on US CITIZENS.

Farm Labor

I have been reading an article about the latest rules the obama department of labor is trying to impose on farms. The rules limit what farmers can allow teens to do on farms. I have to wonder if the obama administration is trying to force farmers to use immigrant labor, whether legal or illegal. Like many people, I believe obama prefers foreigners, legal or illegal, to US CITIZENS for some reason. Many of his policies seem to support that belief. Of course, I'm all for any employer hiring US CITIZENS rather than illegal immigrants. Hiring US CITIZENS would probably cost more and there may not be as many looking for seasonal farm work or be as willing as immigrants to relocate to follow the work.

Now the labor department wants to limit what teens might be able to do on farms by imposing age restrictions on certain tasks like driving tractors, using other equipment, working with livestock, or working at heights above 6 feet. Will these new regulations prevent teens from having summer or part-time jobs on farms? Will they discourage teens who like farm work from having their own farms? Will they cause teens to leave family farms to do other work and cause family farms to cease to exist? I don't know. I do know there are way too many teens today that have never done a hard days work, or any work at all. When teens want to farm or carry on the family farm they should be encouraged and have the best training available to them. With modern technology, equipment, and necessary labor force, US farms should be able to help eliminate hunger in the US. Buy American grown produce and support our farmers!

Giving Away America

So this morning I read that obama has bypassed congress again and will stop the deportation of some 800,000 illegal young people and will offer them work permits that are good for 2 years and renewable an unlimited number of times. What is wrong with this guy who is supposed to be POTUS? With our economy still in the tank, unemployment still at record levels, and 1/2 of our newest college grads unemployed, you would think obama would concentrate on helping US CITIZENS AND EMPLOYERS! I guess since I have a son-in-law that's recently unemployed (with a pregnant wife and a 3 year old) and two kids in college, I tend to see obama's actions as a threat to the country and my family. I also think he's just buying votes by pandering to a segment of the population. I really don't see the economic situation improving under an obama administration that spends more than our country is producing and trading. Eventually we will end up like European countries if we don't turn things around now. Not a good scenario for future generations.

Just a little about myself to start off this blog. I'm just another old guy with opinions on just about everything. My name is Dean Bradford and I'm 53 years old. My wife and I have raised 4 good kids and have 1 grandson. I started my working career as a draftsman at 18 years old and have worked as a draftsman, designer, project manager/subcontracting manager, cost estimator, and a few years as a deputy sheriff.
